  25.      Usenet isn't just for discussions about things that YOu want to read.  A 
  26. large part of what goes on is asking and answering questions.  Even naive 
  27. questions.  I have never seen a FAQ which answers the questions that he 
  28. asked...  Maybe I have, but if so, I don't remember it.  This guy seems like a 
  29. beginner (look at the questions), so you can't blame him for not being able to 
  30. find these things.
  31.      Also, as you said yourself, this guy started a discussion about TCP/IP.  
  32. That's a good thing...  It's better than "bill gates baby names" or some of 
  33. the other crap.  At least it's on topic.

  39.      Ooohhh...  MINUTES of effort?  My god, think of the earth-shaking 
  40. discoveries that could have been made in those few minutes!  If you don't have 
  41. a few minutes, then you need a vacation...  Besides, I could say that your 
  42. wasting my time now!  I've almost spent 4 whole minutes on this now!  You can 
  43. expect a bill in the mail.
  44.      It wouldn't have taken seconds to find on any part of the net.  I've 
  45. spend many, many hours reading stuff on many different aspects of computer 
  46. security, even things such as his last question.  Like I said, I've never 
  47. found anything that I can remember.

  51. too, but at least I might convince you that beginners have a right to ask 
  52. stupid questions.  At least take your stupid responses and keep them to e-mail.
